Class Schedule - Summer 2008

CLASS #1 This class is now in it's 4th session and the student are already more than half-way through the book. Therefore, only students with an intermediate level of Spanish should take this class at this point.

Class #2 This class is ideal for beginners.  We are wrapping up our first session and are not very far along in the book, so those with minimal amount of Spanish should sign-up for this class. There will be a little catching up to do, but reading the first few chapters in the book will bring you up to speed at this point.

Since the class does not start over at the beginning of each 8-week session, prospective students are encouraged to start lessons as soon as possible and not wait until the next 8-week session to register. I will pro-rate tution for students registering part-way through the current session.

At the end of each eight-week session, the class will advance to the next level, and students can decide if they would like to continue progressing or stay where they are.  Continuing students pay for each 8-week session in advance.

Tuition
Tuition for each 8-week session is $90.00 US (or $1000 pesos) and is payable in cash no later than the first day of class. Naturally, earlier payment is most certainly welcomed and appreciated. Please do not bring checks or credit cards as I am deathly allergic to both.  Tution is the same for each eight-week session. Tuition may be pro-rated on a case-by-case basis to students who start partway into a particular session, however full-tuition will be required if the student wishes to continue to the next session.

PLEASE NOTE: Refunds and/or prorates are not given for missed classes or drop-outs.

Text Book
The text book we will use is "Madrigal's Magic Key to Spanish" by Margarita Madrigal (with original illustrations by Andy Warhol) and can be ordered on-line at amazon.com for around $7.00 to $11.00. ORDER ASAP SO YOU CAN HAVE YOUR BOOK THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS.

Location
Classes will be held at a residential location in Playa La Mision which is located at KM 62 just off the free road, halfway between Ensenada & Rosarito. Upon completion of your registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with complete details and instructions.

Spanish Social Hour
Students from all classes are invited to join us for Spanish Social Hour on the last Friday of every month from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.  Spanish Social Hour is free and open to the public and is a great place to practice speaking and listening to Spanish from students as well as local native Spanish speakers in a safe and social atmosphere.  Potluck and BYOB.
